Clithon corona (Linnaeus, 1758)
Distribution:
Reportedly from Thailand to Indonesia, Japan through the Philippine Islands and Papua New Guinea. Also reported but unconfirmed from Fiji and Samoa in the east portion of its range, but these reports are probably of juvenile Clithon pritchardi (Dohrn, 1861) or Clithon aspersus (G.B. Sowerby II, 1849). Specimens examined were from Thailand, Japan, Papua New Guinea, and the Philippines.
Habitat:
Fresh water in small streams and rivers on and under algae covered stones and in muddy bottom debris. Often found along with Clithon faba (G.B. Sowerby II, 1836) and Clithon sowerbiana (Récluz, 1843).
